Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Iustin Bungeanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Remy Sanderson made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 19 minutes into the match, Iustin Bungeanu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute Iustin Bungeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Palmeiras's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iustin Bungeanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Régis de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Iustin Bungeanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Remy Sanderson got a free kick in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Iustin Bungeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Bungeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Iustin Bungeanu put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Dênis Miranda hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Iustin Bungeanu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Bungeanu couldn't finish the play. Palmeiras's Wesley Fantini was substituted for Iustin Bungeanu. In the 67th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fan Hao Feng to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Wesley Fantini sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Sachs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Régis de Queirós. That made the score 7-1 in the 76 minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 叶星邦 during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 叶星邦 kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Wesley Fantini fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Wesley Fantini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wesley Fantini hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Palmeiras were the better team. Palmeiras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
