Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Edvin Hilde who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Tommy Kahn's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Edvin Hilde was beeing forced to shoot. Suleskard were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edvin Hilde took the corner. The corner led to Suleskard's Lars Oftedal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Suleskard's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edvin Hilde in the 61st minute. A nice corner shot did that Edvin Hilde got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Torjus Fjellheim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Suleskard's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
