In the 8thth minute of the game Barry Zalm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barry Zalm did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 9 minutes into the match. Flashdynamica's Michael Scott got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Barry Zalm made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Scott got free with Tommy Kahn in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute Barry Zalm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barry Zalm in the 26th minute. A hard shot 28 in the game by Barry Zalm from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. In the 29th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Zalm came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Hendrik-Jan Krommert in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Barry Zalm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5-0 became the score in the 68th minute when Barry Zalm elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jochem Ijsselhof kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Fleur came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match Flashdynamica got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brain Veldman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Raymond Fleur advanced and headed the ball into goal, 8-0 in the 91st minute. In the 94th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense.
