In the 27th minute, Davide La Marca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Hegedus Henrik. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hungary's Vörös Henrik to a score. 0-2 in the 36th minute. Fodor Daniel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stelian Popeangă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 41 minute of play. After 45 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. After having played for 45 minutes, Filippo Bobbio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. As Melfi 1929's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Bobbio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Bulla having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Filippo Bobbio made the kick off in the second half. Eraldo Bulla was a little too slow when Hegedus Henrik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 58th minute, Antal Valentin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eraldo Bulla. The goal made the score 1-4. Eraldo Bulla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 65th minute of the match. Takacs Tibor made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that As Melfi 1929's Eraldo Bulla managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Vörös Henrik got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Filippo Bobbio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
