When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Teofil Sobczak took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by Faustino Almeida in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's 鲁德响. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's goalkeeper Gavino Raymundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute Teofil Sobczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Sobczak came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofil Sobczak got free with Wilson Amorim in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Teofil Sobczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Teofil Sobczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Raymundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 44th minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's goalkeeper Gavino Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 鲁德响 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's 庄宇辉 was substituted for 白义誉.

A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Gavino Raymundo threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Moura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. But to his dismay, Teofil Sobczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Gavino Raymundo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute of the match, Viriato Moura tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gavino Raymundo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Raymundo came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Teofil Sobczak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Sobczak in the 73rd minute of the match. ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's Lokman Oğuzbay was substituted for 乔亦军. Helge Bäck got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by 庄宇辉. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Raymundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Teofil Sobczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the game, ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's 庄宇辉 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 92nd minute, Bartolomeu Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
