Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kristopher Le Saux took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Gloucester City AFC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Åke Petersson in the 8th minute. A collision led to Gloucester City AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lennie Sutherland hit a great ball. 1-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Gustaaf Groeneveldt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Danny Jumel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 17th minute of play. Gloucester City AFC's Danny Jumel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 26th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Kristopher Le Saux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Carragher came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wes Carragher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Kristopher Le Saux recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers. Kristopher Le Saux showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danny Jumel made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Kristopher Le Saux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Carragher, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Danny Jumel made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wes Carragher in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 76th minute of play forced Gloucester City AFC's goalkeeper Danny Jumel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danny Jumel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. Danny Jumel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Danny Jumel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mathijn Doctor's late challenge caught a Gloucester City AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathijn Doctor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. Danny Jumel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. The Gloucester City AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
