An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 5th minute of play forced Santos da Bahia Fc's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes, Balazs Lajos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the Santos da Bahia Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balazs Lajos to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Santos da Bahia Fc's Wesley Cearense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Homer Gol in the 42nd minute of the match. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Dito Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Dito Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito Paraíba made a kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Paraíba in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 52 minutes, Dito Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos da Bahia Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dito Paraíba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dito Paraíba's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dito Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Santos da Bahia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 65 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodriguinho Varela. Santos da Bahia Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Homer Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Santos da Bahia Fc booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Santos da Bahia Fc's Homer Gol in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78th minute, Dito Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Correia hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 84th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Santos da Bahia Fc were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
