Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Suarez to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Yves Dervaux put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Branislav Velchevski. 7 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casper Claes. Elpidio Francis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Elpidio Francis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Elpidio Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Iztal to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branislav Velchevski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 34 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Floris Claeys. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Esteban Iztal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Floris Claeys in the 37 minute of the game. Casper Claes was a little too slow when Elpidio Francis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Francis got free with Casper Claes in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Branislav Velchevski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Elpidio Francis made the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Prosperi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Floris Claeys got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Branislav Velchevski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Elpidio Francis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Elpidio Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Branislav Velchevski in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-4 in the 89th playminute. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
