Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jaime Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damir Pongrac, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Elizardo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Eloy Elizardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor. Eloy Elizardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Emilio Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Elizardo was the one to do the kick off.
