Joxa mé trasan's Edward Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 6th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Engström. Edward Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 16th minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Edward Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Engström. Edward Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 22nd minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Edward Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cao Zhen in the 28th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sabin Macovei was slow to take the kick. During this time Joxa mé trasan's players had a chance to rest. Joxa mé trasan's Arman von Liechtenstein was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Casper Claes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edward Engström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nigel Devos during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. Edward Engström made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cao Zhen in the 66th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward Engström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Joxa mé trasan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Joxa mé trasan's goalie and right to Siebe Michiels. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Joxa mé trasan's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Doyle Brunson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Siebe Michiels might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Engström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siebe Michiels ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman von Liechtenstein in the 77th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Edward Engström managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 82 minutes into the match, Arne Bronco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arne Bronco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After 86 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Siebe Michiels got free with Edward Engström in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belgium played a much better game than Joxa mé trasan and deserved their victory. The Joxa mé trasan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
