Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Davoneta Xeneize got a freekick which was hit by Rene Nerio. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Austria defense, Martin Guerrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Davoneta Xeneize players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
