Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Cimone's Carmine Di Rocco managed to reach the ball for a save. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clint Barton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Demetrio Pagliarini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clint Barton in the 25th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmine Di Rocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 48th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Takacs Tibor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Clint Barton made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Tieri helped the player get up and apologised. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, Cimone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Tatangelo to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clint Barton in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Ennio Gervasi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Carmine Di Rocco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 97th minute.
