After some careless play in the Jacksonville FC defense, Willian Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikolas Papadamous. The Jacksonville FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikolas Papadamous should have stopped the shot. Willian Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolas Papadamous having to interfere. Willian Félix in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nikolas Papadamous, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nikolas Papadamous was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Marcos Cruz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Cruz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Servaes in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolas Papadamous prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikolas Papadamous. Nikolas Papadamous yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Nikolas Papadamous showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Antonelli in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Servaes in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikolas Papadamous saved Jacksonville FC from getting behind. Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Jacksonville FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 33 minutes, Vinícius Servaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diamante Negro DK - VV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinícius Servaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Willian Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolas Papadamous saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Vinícius Servaes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Nikolas Papadamous was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Vinícius Servaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolas Papadamous was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Servaes to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Jacksonville FC's Ross Holliday got a free kick in the 50th minute. Nikolas Papadamous made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 52nd minute of play. Vinícius Servaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikolas Papadamous. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
