Chris Mergenthaler got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frank Sachs. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Ermano saved ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ from getting behind. Saverio Lehior hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Lehior to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Ermano having to make a save. Adrian Dreifuss scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Ermano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Ermano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Jose Ermano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Jose Ermano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Ermano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pastor Valente hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Linus Schwerner hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Wilfredo Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Ermano made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. After 68 minutes of play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Ermano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulrich Stein made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Albin Holweck immediately put the ball in play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Llanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Ermano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jose Ermano came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Sachs slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Wilfredo Bernaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Ovidio Avellaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. A collision led to ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ovidio Avellaneda hit a great ball. The supporters of Germany booed when ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Ermano having to interfere. Germany played a much better game than ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ and deserved their victory. The ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
