With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler threw the ball into play from the sideline. NiğdeBeşiktaş's İbrahim Bengisoy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 28 minutes, İbrahim Bengisoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
