Florian Capasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. In the 5th minute of the game Faustino Almeida made a throw-in which Graciano Coutinho played forward. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Florian Capasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Portugal's Caetano Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Capasso came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalju Vint kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 24th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Faustino Almeida in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Merusca F&P's Fellipe Capixaba. 35 minutes into the match, Florian Capasso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 2-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Capasso made a kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Florian Capasso notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merusca F&P's Marcinho Sabóia was substituted for Fumanchu Ponta. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Faustino Almeida got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Hélder Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Walmyr Novaes was slow to take the kick. During this time Merusca F&P's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Walmyr Novaes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. In the 86th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Hélder Fonseca notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vihar Perchemliev made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hélder Fonseca however managed to control. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Bartolomeu Dias made a precise shot to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Merusca F&P's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merusca F&P.
