Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinícius Servaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Diamante Negro DK - VV were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Cruz took the corner. The supporters of Diamante Negro DK - VV booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Servaes. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinícius Servaes's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Vinícius Servaes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vinícius Servaes really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 53rd minute of the match. Vinícius Servaes scored 5-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Rogério Ceni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Rogério Ceni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Vinícius Servaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 93rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Servaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamante Negro DK - VV's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
