Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Göksel Taşdan started the match with the kick off. Çakır Alyakut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after 1930 Bafraspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. Çakır Alyakut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Göksel Taşdan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Italy's goalie and right to Tayfun Kahraman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Italy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Göksel Taşdan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Flavio Vittori to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, Göksel Taşdan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori, 2-0. The throw-in from Alaaddin Benlioğlu in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Çakır Alyakut. Çakır Alyakut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thierry Hermans kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Zaccheo Andolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Göksel Taşdan came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Çakır Alyakut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Deodato Magliozzi. After 67 played minutes 1930 Bafraspor got a freekick which was hit by Gazanfer Devan. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1930 Bafraspor's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Çakır Alyakut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. 84 minutes into the game, Göksel Taşdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Flavio Vittori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 1930 Bafraspor made a substitution. Martin Johansson replaced Demy Ottens. 89 minutes in the game Alaaddin Benlioğlu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cenap İkinci. Çakır Alyakut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's goal looked a bit too open when Guiscardo Davide came free, but Çakır Alyakut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1930 Bafraspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
