Abelardo Zubizarreta made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Peter Linkhorst sent off a good shot on target. In the 19thth minute of the game Batu Cem Topay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abelardo Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ununger in the 20th minute of the match. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batu Cem Topay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by ManagerZone Crew's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Guimarães was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Letal's players had a chance to rest. 34 minutes into the match, Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Abelardo Zubizarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Rosario. After some careless play in the ManagerZone Crew defense, Batu Cem Topay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Armstrong. The ManagerZone Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Armstrong should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes, Batu Cem Topay made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 46th minute of play forced Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Abelardo Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batu Cem Topay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atlético Letal's Abelardo Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 56th minute of play. Atlético Letal's Batu Cem Topay got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, Atlético Letal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Adrian Våleman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atlético Letal made a substitution. Simão Paranaense replaced César Toledo. A collision led to Atlético Letal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Samuel Guimarães hit a great ball. ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batu Cem Topay in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute ManagerZone Crew were awarded a corner. Adrian Våleman went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Robert Ununger drilling the ball in to score 1-4 behind Atlético Letal's goalkeeper. After 73 minutes of play, Atlético Letal's Batu Cem Topay made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Armstrong was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute Thorbjörn Olerius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Våleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
