Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilberto Garaile started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 13th minute Glauco Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Iliyan Rumenin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play forced FC Zhelezna's goalkeeper Artur Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Tomas Gartzen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Glauco Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Garaile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Artur Borubar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 25th minute of the match. Artur Borubar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 26th minute of play. Artur Borubar came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Artur Borubar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Zhelezna defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Borubar. The FC Zhelezna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Borubar should have stopped the shot. FC Zhelezna's Artur Borubar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 36th minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Garaile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Tomas Gartzen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zhelezna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Tomas Gartzen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Artur Borubar made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Eikelkamp in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Borubar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 55thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Zhelezna's keeper Artur Borubar was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Neville Staples hit a great ball. Neville Staples hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Gilberto Garaile ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Iliyan Rumenin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Zhelezna's Artur Borubar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 84th minute. Artur Borubar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Artur Borubar in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. FC Zhelezna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Radko Tetikov made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt.
