Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Orduspor's Tahir Tanbay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Deniz Orsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Orduspor were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Azmi Arslangiray took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Orduspor's zone, David Eikelkamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deniz Orsel came out of the goal and David Eikelkamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Konstantinos Manikas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 13th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deniz Orsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Orduspor's Konstantinos Manikas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Orduspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alican Vahdettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Indyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahir Tanbay in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Indyk came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gazanfer Sahat kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play forced Orduspor's goalkeeper Deniz Orsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Konstantinos Manikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Deniz Orsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Indyk made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Stefan Indyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Deniz Orsel quite easily take care of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Indyk came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Orduspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alican Vahdettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orduspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
