Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 3rd minute, Hegedus Henrik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Miguel Volios short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Volio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Volio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CS La Libertad's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Monge came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Volio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Valassiou in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Miguel Volio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save CS La Libertad from getting a goal against them. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after CS La Libertad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner led Hungary's Balazs Lajos to a score. 1-4 in the 63rd minute. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after CS La Libertad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Hungary's Major Barna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ernesto Monge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ernesto Monge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes of play, CS La Libertad's Marco Ureña made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Lobo was slow to take the kick. During this time CS La Libertad's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Reynaldo Esquivel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After recieving a nice pass, CS La Libertad's Rodrigo Lobo tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The CS La Libertad fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
