Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Angelo Pessoa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Freire in the 11th minute of the match. David Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Teodoro Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to AM United getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jorge Morais hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Teodoro Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodoro Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Freire was the one to do the kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 60th minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after AM United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After 64 minutes of play, AM United's Angelo Pessoa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gust Ennemans kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Nijveldt. 84 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. AM United's Jorge Morais quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Bastos came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, AM United could leave the field as winners, despite Netherlands having more of the ball for most of the match.
