The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Ritter got free with Maxime Durand in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Zenon Pino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maxime Durand. The goal made the score 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Ritter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
