Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Sachs got the match started through his kick off. Germany's Willy Stieler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abdurrahman Gulson in the 4 minute of the game. Eugeniusz Poniewaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Rasimowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korneliusz Rasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Stieler during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ajax Poland booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaja Tura's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Poniewaz got free with Tommy Kahn in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 played minutes Eugeniusz Poniewaz rounded Germany's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 31 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Poniewaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Poniewaz got free with Tommy Kahn in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Poniewaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Poniewaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Poniewaz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Poniewaz to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Poniewaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Poniewaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 58 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Poniewaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 66th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 66th minute of the match. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Korneliusz Rasimowicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eugeniusz Poniewaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Antonio Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Rasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Poniewaz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eugeniusz Poniewaz took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Eugeniusz Poniewaz struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax Poland. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Eugeniusz Poniewaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Poniewaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. When the referee ended the match the Ajax Poland players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
