Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Todd Gronow kicked off to start the match. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Gronow, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mao Yan Yong, made in the 5th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Italy's Eliseo Cutri got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Todd Gronow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todd Gronow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Todd Gronow struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 26th minute of the match. The Italy fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Janpier. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Todd Gronow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Janpier. Abelardo Janpier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Todd Gronow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Gronow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Italy were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Janpier. Zaccheo Andolina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Gronow in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Zena Busacca hit a great ball. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 73rd minute of play. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Gronow, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Fausto Agüero got a free kick in the 78th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Andreas Harlén was substituted for Zula Turek. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Hipolito Nafarroa replaced Napoleon Kolbert. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Melquiades Lastur replaced Inaki Mirabal. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
