Serbia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Audrius Vadalauskas scored to the left of an out of position Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, making the score, 1-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ren Wei Sheng in the 9th minute. If Audrius Vadalauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Audrius Vadalauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Zenonas Mamkus came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd play minute Audrius Vadalauskas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Audrius Vadalauskas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. That made the score 4-0 in the 25 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, FK Centras's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Hubertas Pumputis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Audrius Vadalauskas in the 32nd minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Audrius Vadalauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Audrius Vadalauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Serbia booed when FK Centras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvydas Augutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Dobilas Budvytis with Bronislovas Žvirblis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Audrius Vadalauskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenonas Mamkus in the 55th minute of the match. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Centras's Zenonas Mamkus. But to his dismay, Zenonas Mamkus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of FK Centras booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borjan Golubovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Audrius Vadalauskas notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Zenonas Mamkus came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute FK Centras were awarded a corner. Vilmantas Sakalauskas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to FK Centras's Bronislovas Žvirblis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Audrius Vadalauskas in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Audrius Vadalauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenonas Mamkus in the 79th minute of the match. If Zenonas Mamkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, FK Centras's Audrius Vadalauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. A collision led to FK Centras getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ren Wei Sheng hit a great ball. Drasko Rajkovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubertas Pumputis having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Ren Wei Sheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Audrius Vadalauskas in the 97th minute of the match. FK Centras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
