After a rather tough play, ASD Real Molinella 1911's Fabio Di Tommaso got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Camille Baume was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulvio Giuliani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Suriani made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thiago Torres however managed to control. Eugenio Giandomenico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 39th minute of play forced ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalkeeper Fulvio Giuliani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Camille Baume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 45th minute of play forced ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalkeeper Fulvio Giuliani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camille Baume struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Fulvio Giuliani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Frank Peletier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fulvio Giuliani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ASD Real Molinella 1911's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Frank Peletier scored to the left of an out of position Fulvio Giuliani, making the score, 0-2. Ernesto Suriani made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thiago Torres however managed to control. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Giandomenico in the 66th minute of the match. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Thiago Torres fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASD Real Molinella 1911's protests and gave Thiago Torres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Thiago Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Camille Baume cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Fulvio Giuliani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 82 in the game by Frank Peletier from a close distance when the talented Fulvio Giuliani managed to make a qualified save. ASD Real Molinella 1911's players were relieved. After 86 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Remy Dupuy. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Frank Peletier sped through ASD Real Molinella 1911's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulvio Giuliani. With his leg Fulvio Giuliani managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when France's Frank Peletier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adriano Peca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere.
