Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Stefano in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. France's David Barbier got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Castanheiro SC made a substitution. Hélder Schmidt replaced Shi Cheng Chao. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Rodolfo Sergipano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Wincent Dropinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes in the game Quentin Beaux did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to David Barbier. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's 陶渊伟 got a free kick in the 60th minute. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 76th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the game Henry Robiquet made a throw-in which David Barbier played forward. After 91 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Frank Peletier. Castanheiro SC's Alfredo Stefano got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Alfredo Stefano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Stefano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
