In the 41st minute, BIAMAR's Ceferino Salvatore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. Ceferino Salvatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Wahlnäs to make the kick off. Sigvard Wahlnäs might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sigvard Wahlnäs ran back to his position shaking his head. BIAMAR were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Faruk Bakırcı took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Faruk Bakırcı got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, BIAMAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faruk Bakırcı to maneuver through the defense. Caio Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target.
