HollywooDogs's Dedé Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 22nd minute of play. When Ricardinho Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the HollywooDogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Dedé Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Fabio Weidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. HollywooDogs were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Netherlands for a fine match.
