Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Hungary's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Liu Shu Zhan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarık Vahapoğlu saved SvS from getting behind. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tarık Vahapoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, SvS's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Tarık Vahapoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balazs Lajos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SvS's Tarık Vahapoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tarık Vahapoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SvS's Tarık Vahapoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 28th minute of play. Osman Batur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was a penalty for Hungary! Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tarık Vahapoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tarık Vahapoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nusrettin Zeki was the one to do the kick off. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Artuç, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. SvS were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serter Tandoruk took the corner. In the 55th match minute, SvS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primus Imperatore to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind SvS's goalkeeper Tarık Vahapoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute Osman Batur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nusrettin Zeki in the 63rd minute of play. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Tarık Vahapoğlu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, SvS's Tarık Vahapoğlu got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SvS getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. After 93 minutes of play, SvS's Ahmet Refik Artuç made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Hungary booed when SvS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serter Tandoruk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
