Dariusz Czciborek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dariusz Czciborek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Dariusz Czciborek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Pere Calabuig tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 21st minute of play forced Torrent C. F.'s goalkeeper Dariusz Czciborek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Torrent C. F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Takacs Tibor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Czciborek having to interfere. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barna scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Czciborek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Balazs Lajos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Pere Calabuig's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Torrent C. F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Dariusz Czciborek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mateo Andreu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Andreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Torrent C. F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Andreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fausto Villar fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torrent C. F.'s protests and gave Fausto Villar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dariusz Czciborek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Dariusz Czciborek in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Torrent C. F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. After 62 played minutes Torrent C. F. got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Andreu. In the 64th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 68 minutes into the match, Torrent C. F.'s goalkeeper Dariusz Czciborek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. With his leg Dariusz Czciborek managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Hungary's Vörös Henrik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torrent C. F.'s Ken McIlwhom was substituted for Salomon Nueva. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Izquierdo in the 79th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Pere Calabuig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrent C. F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pere Calabuig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Torrent C. F.'s Fausto Villar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Dariusz Czciborek made a huge save. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Pere Calabuig sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel.
