A collision led to UYANIŞ BÜYÜK SELÇUKLU getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Güngör Akbuğ hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Cesur Alp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Korkutalp Osmanoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Korkutalp Osmanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Fikret Sidal made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bartolomeu Dias sent off a good shot on target.
