Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Metod Mlynar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Metod Mlynar hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Metod Mlynar got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Slovakia. Slovakia's Vít Biskup quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ben Oude Kamphuis, made in the 10th minute of the game. Zijdewind SC's Damien Schimmel got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdi Dekens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. Sipke Kroon made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Slovakia's Vít Biskup. After 30 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Jan ter Averst. In the 31st minute of the match Pavol Koleno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luuk Meppelink showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Metod Mlynar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luuk Meppelink was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luuk Meppelink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Ferdi Dekens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damien Schimmel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Metod Mlynar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Christijan Booy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Oliver Holub mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovakia and the Zijdewind SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Holub to maneuver through the defense. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Dekens, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Sipke Kroon made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerard Kok. The throw-in from Daniël De Leeuw in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Slovakia's Vít Biskup. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a free kick in the 71st minute. Metod Mlynar's late challenge caught a Zijdewind SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Metod Mlynar helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Metod Mlynar. After 74 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi Dekens. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Schimmel in the 78th minute of play. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Kornel Jahoda. Ferdi Dekens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Vavrinec Koleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Zigmund Maliar got a free kick in the 89th minute. Oliver Holub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliver Holub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Luuk Meppelink made a huge save. The Slovakia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Slovakia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
