Floris Claeys's late challenge caught a Guns And Roses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

Guns And Roses made a substitution. Jesús Salvador replaced Alfonso Gilabert. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesús Salvador, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Laurens Vandamme got a free kick in the 94th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
