After 4 played minutes FC ciufulici got a freekick which was hit by Toader Ghișe. In the 6th minute, Eloy Sidro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marius Rusu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marius Rusu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Sidro in the 10th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Cozma to maneuver through the defense. When Clemente Goyo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Real Ayuntamiento CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Goyo couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Real Ayuntamiento CF got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Gurutz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Sidro in the 26th minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Marius Rusu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Libertad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marius Rusu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marius Rusu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Endura in the 34th minute of play. In the 45th minute Edgar Vlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Sidro to make the kick off. When Francisc Tarcu fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ciufulici's protests and gave Francisc Tarcu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Francisc Tarcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justino Vigil had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Edgar Vlas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edgar Vlas took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Vigil. Justino Vigil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marius Rusu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Arnaldo Cordeiro got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Doru Răuțchi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Vigil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 91st match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Vlas to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Clemente Goyo in the 92nd minute of play was well struck, but Marius Rusu made a really good save at the right post.
