Edgar Vlas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Odén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Halcones Azules's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Vlas came free, but Karl-Oskar Odén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Oskar Odén made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Toader Ghișe sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Mihalcea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Odén having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Edgar Vlas put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Oskar Odén. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Vlas in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Oskar Odén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC ciufulici were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Halcones Azules's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Vlas took the corner. In the 87th minute, Edgar Vlas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ciufulici fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 90 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's Valentin Mihalcea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Oskar Odén narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
