The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Goyo got free with Karl-Michael Åhman in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Michael Åhman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Svanström kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Eloy Sidro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Per Stigsson got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Sören Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Milan's Karl-Michael Åhman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Klemensson in the 27th minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Lorenzo Enmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Eloy Sidro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Michael Åhman. The goal made the score 2-0. Saverio Cordeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Michael Åhman came out and tried to block the shot, but Saverio Cordeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sören Klemensson to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl-Michael Åhman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Gurutz in the 54th minute of play. Karl-Michael Åhman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Gurutz in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Lázaro Gurutz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Karl-Michael Åhman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Gurutz in the 62nd minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Åhman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Milan's Karl-Michael Åhman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Cordeiro in the 64th minute of play. Karl-Michael Åhman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, Lázaro Gurutz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Karl-Michael Åhman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Sidro in the 85th minute of the match. Karl-Michael Åhman came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Ayuntamiento CF's Saverio Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Saverio Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 89th match minute, Real Ayuntamiento CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Abad to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Michael Åhman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Noe in the 93rd minute of the match. Real Ayuntamiento CF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
