After 29 minutes FC ciufulici's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommy Bokelund who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mats Alberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marius Rusu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Klemensson in the 30th minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Marius Rusu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toader Ghișe got free with Karl-Michael Åhman in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Valentin Mihalcea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Michael Åhman. Valentin Mihalcea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. AC Milan's Karl-Michael Åhman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Edgar Vlas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Svanström during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Svanström to maneuver through the defense. FC ciufulici's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
