A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jano Nascimento hit a great ball. Tobias Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Loureiro in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Veríssimo. In the 20th minute Franklin Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS were furious when Zé Carlos França was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisão Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Duarte in the 37th minute of play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alexandre Veríssimo sped through CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisão Sabóia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Veríssimo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicola Zalewski struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Tobias Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CE LAJEADENSE RS. After the first half CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Joãozinho Pernambucano made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Alexandre Veríssimo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisão Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisão Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Carrasqueira in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joãozinho Pernambucano during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 63 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Joãozinho Pernambucano came free, but Tobias Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franklin Loureiro was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. Nicola Zalewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Loureiro in the 69th minute of the match. Tobias Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a freekick which was hit by Cassiano Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Loureiro in the 75th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Tobias Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Joãozinho Pernambucano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Tobias Braga. Tobias Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joãozinho Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Braga having to interfere. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Franklin Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute of the match CE LAJEADENSE RS got a corner. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franklin Loureiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Franklin Loureiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tobias Braga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Franklin Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
