In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that SC Braga were the better team. SC Braga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
