In the 8th minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Cleiton Cosme seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cleiton Cosme the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cleiton Cosme had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 9th minute, Cleiton Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Figueiredo in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Kempel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Noia's Cristian Vargas got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hermínio Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabo D Agostino in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Noia's Vitório Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo de Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 34th minute Vitório Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório Simão's late challenge caught a Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitório Simão helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Noia getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Vitório Simão hit a great ball. The supporters of Noia booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zac Ba Loua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perivaldo Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Josué Eger made the kick off in the second half. Alan Moraes's late challenge caught a Noia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. When Sabo D Agostino fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's protests and gave Sabo D Agostino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Sabo D Agostino got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 74th minute Christoffer Kempel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabo D Agostino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Barros having to interfere. Christoffer Kempel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hermínio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoffer Kempel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
