Hermínio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Valdemar Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roberto Baiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Jairo Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermínio Barros was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinei Tande made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Tande in the 53rd minute of play forced Noia's goalkeeper Hermínio Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Noia's Cristian Vargas got a free kick in the 57th minute. A collision led to Noia getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Josué Eger hit a great ball. Claudinei Tande scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermínio Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Noia's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Netto came free, but Hermínio Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when Noia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
