A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rodrigo Campelo hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Jardel Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albérico Vilaverde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Albérico Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Correia in the 11th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Frederico Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Frederico Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Travassos. After 27 played minutes, SC Braga's Hermínio Leal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giuseppe Machado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Braga reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Luís Antas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Antas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Medeiros. The supporters of Agroboys SM - CIMZ booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Caetano Coutinho made the kick off in the second half. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Giuseppe Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Bettencourt in the 53rd minute of play. Nélson Barroso kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Coutinho came free, but Giuseppe Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cauan Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Agroboys SM - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Travassos couldn't finish the play. Nélson Barroso hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 96 minutes, Cícero Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agroboys SM - CIMZ and the SC Braga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Cícero Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the match was over Agroboys SM - CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Braga throughout the match.
