A hard shot 12 in the game by Francisco Corrêa from a close distance when the talented Alan de Medeiros managed to make a qualified save. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's players were relieved. After 13 minutes Club Sacode Football CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nestor Penha who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Noia's Luciano Fontes to fire away a dangerous shot which Alan de Medeiros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. José Augusto Arantes lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Noia:s Josué Eger showed great skill when he stopped Fred Andrade:s penalty. Josué Eger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Andrade went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Alan de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sacode Football CIMZ from getting a goal against them. After 25 played minutes Club Sacode Football CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fred Andrade. After 25 minutes, Vitório Simão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noia and the Club Sacode Football CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vitório Simão hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Denílson Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
