In the 21st minute Zac Ba Loua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but King Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Miguéis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo de Mendonça having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Don Duarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo de Mendonça. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. Paulo de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Nuno Pereira sent off a good shot on target. After 77 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Britto. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes in the game, Don Duarte fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paulo de Mendonça having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Zac Ba Loua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Carrasqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
