The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Gilvan Moura dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Mineiro in the 7th minute of the match. Marcinho das Neves hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Humberto Rossi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ciro Brasil firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 13th minute Evair Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evair Palmeira in the 13th minute of play. Evair Palmeira hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Orlando Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Mineiro scored 2-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavinho Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Urbano in the 28th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evair Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Pedro Luiz Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Mangueira hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Paulo Silva hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. ITAFUT 4EVER's Ciro Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them. ITAFUT 4EVER's Ciro Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Rossi in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Marcinho das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CE LAJEADENSE RS and the ITAFUT 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Marcinho das Neves hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evair Palmeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Mineiro in the 51st minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's Ciro Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Moura in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Humberto Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Brasil. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 62 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Perez came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Humberto Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Ciro Brasil came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Gilvan Moura. But to his dismay, Gilvan Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 73 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Tonhão Palmeira came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Eliézer Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ITAFUT 4EVER the free kick. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Eliézer Ramos got a free kick in the 75th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Beto Aparecido was substituted for Evair Palmeira. After 76 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Ramos. When ITAFUT 4EVER's Orlando Mineiro in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie prevented a goal. Humberto Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ciro Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the game, Beto Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Flavinho Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciro Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Moura in the 96th minute of the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
