CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gugu Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Gilvan Moura fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Gilvan Moura a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Moura. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Coutinho in the 21st minute of play. Gugu Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Flavinho Reis made a huge save. In the 25th minute Natanael Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jean Toledo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gugu Coutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Natanael Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Artur Pombal made a huge save. 53 minutes into the game, Eliézer Ramos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artur Pombal. Eliézer Ramos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 57th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Silva to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Gilvan Moura took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Artur Pombal to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Moura in the 65th minute of play forced Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Artur Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Eliézer Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Ramos in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Pinheiro in the 70th minute of play forced Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Artur Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Hartmann Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Monteiro. 74 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Gilvan Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Pombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Messias in the 79th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as CE LAJEADENSE RS's Eliézer Ramos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artur Pombal. That made the score 1-9 after 87 minutes of play. Artur Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Ramos in the 91st minute of the match.
