Fausto Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A hard shot by Ángel-Fabián Di María from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Rodrigo Amato's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 6 played minutes LiBeRiA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Palos. Rodrigo Amato was a little too slow when Lionel Messi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Lion Messi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 14 minutes into the match, Ramon Lizardi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of LiBeRiA F.C.'s Rodrigo Amato. Rodrigo Amato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Rodrigo Amato got control of the ball when Rigoberto Cuarto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Atilano Ulizes got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Cordarell in the 23rd minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Albano Bemabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Cuarto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Scaloneta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LiBeRiA F.C. the free kick. Rigoberto Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Albano Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Rodrigo Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Messi in the 28th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, La Scaloneta's Ramon Lizardi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Amato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the LiBeRiA F.C. defense, Lionel Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Amato. The LiBeRiA F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Amato should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lionel Messi made a kick off. Rodrigo Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel-Fabián Di María in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Artemio Naike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Fermin Porfiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Valentin Taurino got a free kick in the 69th minute. Artemio Naike hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Fermin Porfiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Ramon Lizardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Rodrigo Amato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodrigo Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Lizardi in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Lizardi came free, but Rodrigo Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Messi in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Lionel Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes LiBeRiA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Herensuge. After having played for 95 minutes, Lionel Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lionel Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the La Scaloneta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
